Manassinakkare (Malayalam: മനസ്സിനക്കരെ, English: Beyond the Mind) is a 2003 Malayalam family drama film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Ranjan Pramod. It stars Sheela, Jayaram, Nayantara, Innocent, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Siddique, Sukumari, Nedumudi Venu, and Mammukoya in the main roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Ilayaraja.[1]

The film marked a comeback for actress Sheela, and it was the debut film for Nayantara.

Konthayum Poonulum is a 2014 Indian Malayalam Family drama directed by Jijo Antony. It stars Kunchako Boban, Bhama and Manoj K Jayan in the lead. Movie was a torrent blockbuster.

A baker (Kunchacko Boban) rushes home to be with his heavily pregnant wife (Bhama), who has been left alone. There is his dear jobless friend Shine Tom Chacko, whom he meets up with, once he is back home.

A police officer (Kalabhavan Mani), picks up a lady (Kavitha Nair) from the streets, but she disappears into thin air, making him believe that she isn't of the human kind. That he has made fun of his wife's spiritual beliefs earlier adds to his fears.

"Cousins" is a 2014 Malayalam comedy film directed by Vysakh and scripted by Sethu. The story revolves around four cousins, played by Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Joju George,who undertake a journey with a particular intention and the issues they come across in between them. Vedhika and Nisha Aggarwal play the female leads, while Kalabhavan Shajon and Pradeep Rawat feature in supporting roles in the film. The film released on 19 December 2014.

Palunku is a 2006 Malayalam-language drama film written and directed by Blessy. It stars Mammootty in the lead role with Baby Nazriya Nazim, Lakshmi Sharma, Baby Nivedita, Kottayam Santha and Jagathy Sreekumar playing other pivotal roles. Lakshmi Sharma made her debut as an actress with this film.[1] The film exposes the trappings of consumerism and how city life changes the perspective and priorities of an ordinary farmer portrayed by Mammootty.[2]

The film was mainly shot at various locations in Muvattupuzha and Thodupuzha.[3] It released on 22 December 2006 and was an average grosser at the Kerala box office.[4] The film was noted for its relevant plot, the performances of the lead actors and the directional excellence of Blessy.[5] Mammootty won the Best Actor Award at the annual Kerala Film Critics Awards[6] for the portrayal of Monichan, a down-to-earth farmer driven to the verge of suicide by the loan sharks

Palunku tells the story of an industrious farmer Monichan and his family, which consists of his wife Susamma, and his daughters Geethu and Neethu, whom he lovingly calls 'Ponnu' and 'Kilunthu'. Monichan is happy with his life as a farmer and loves his family, his profession, nature and the people around him.

At a juncture in his life, he is forced to take his daughters to a school in the town, simply because the school in his village cannot accommodate his elder daughter, who is in fifth standard, as there are not enough students to run classes. Thus Geethu and Neethu join an English medium school. Monichan brings the children to school every morning and hangs around in town till evening to take them back.

In the course of this routine, Monichan gets close to Soman Pillai, a shrewd lottery agent, who knows all kinds of short-cuts to earn money. Soman Pillai becomes Monichan's advisor. Monichan buys a bicycle and the father and the daughters now travel to town and back on the bicycle. In the meantime Monichan joins a class conducted for elders and starts learning to read and write Malayalam as well as English. A minor accident makes Monichan shift over to the town along with his family.

Once in town, Monichan finds himself entrapped in a vicious circle. He, with the help of Soman Pillai, begins to tread down the wrong path - lending out money, and doing things not entirely above board. His life changes slowly. He is no longer the naive farmer he used to be. Even his wife has changed, spending her time watching soap operas on TV and dreaming about modern household amenities. But fate has something else in store for them.They lose their elder daughter Geethu because she was raped and killed by a seventeen-year old boy. The courts punishes the boy by sending him to the juvenile jail. However Monichan is not satisfied. In the end, he realizes his mistakes and is shown to go back his ways as a farmer

Parunthu (English:Eagle) is a 2008 Malayalam film by M. Padmakumar starring Mammootty and Jayasurya.
Blade Purushottaman (Mammootty), nicknamed Parunthu Purushu for the way he preys on his targets, is a heartless financier. His rude and insulting ways of talking to people who owe him money have hurt many people. Vinayan(Jayasurya) a young youth joins Parunthu Purushu to fight against Azeez, for his family needs. Once Parunthu spoils the betrothal ceremony of Rakhi (Lakshmi Rai), the daughter of a Gujarati businessman Hemanth Bhai (Jagathy Sreekumar), who owes Parunthu a large sum. After the death of Hemanth Bhai, Rakhi takes money from Azeez, who is Purushu's rival from childhood. But for Azeez it was a trap and he wants more than money in return.
