Synopsis:

Judge Somnath lives with his wife, three sons, and a daughter. Two of his sons, Vikram and Mohan are married, while his daughter, Kaamna, and youngest son, Ravi, are of marriageable age. Somnath had wanted his sons to be a doctor, police officer, and a Judge. While Vikram is a surgeon, Mohan's a Police Inspector, & Ravi is now studying law and on his way to become a lawyer and then a Judge like his dad. This family does have a dark secret. Ravi is prone to losing his temper, so much so that he gets out of control, and has killed someone in his childhood. When Kaamna gets raped, the family are reluctant to tell Ravi. When they do they do convince him to control himself, while Mohan gets an arrest warrant for Vinod, Kaamna's molester. Things do not go smoothly in court as the matter is put off for several months and then Somnath and Kaamna are killed in a bomb explosion. Now Mohan and Vikram handcuff Ravi on their balcony while they finalize the funeral arrangements, and when they return Ravi is no longer there. And then the killings begin...

Jaidev and Gayatri are childhood lovers who are separated with some misunderstanding. Jaidev becomes a successful music director in Mumbai. Gayatri goes to Mumbai in search of Jaidev. There she meets Mala, who is the lead singer of Jaidev's music company. She addresses herself as Jaidev's wife(but she is not) in front of Gayatri unknown to Jaidev. Gayatri, heartbroken leaves from there with her daughter. Jaidev fires Mala due to her careless attitude towards music. Jaidev searches for a new voice for his company. There he meets Guddi who is a fabulous singer. Jaidev launches Guddi and becomes a successful singer. Meanwhile Jaidev falls in love with Guddi. Guddi unaware of the fact meets Abhimanyu in Darjeeling and falls in love with him. They come back to meet Jaidev and Jaidev decides to get them married. Abhimanyu is killed by Jaidev's rivals who want to kill Vandana to close Jaidev's music company. Vandana still in depression of Abhimanyu's death realises Jaidev's love for her and plans to get married. She bumps into Gayatri. The movie story deals with Tuti Shah who murders Kishan to defend his anti-social business and trap Kishan's friend D'souza in his murder. D'Souza gets life imprisonment. D'Souza seven years old son Michael runs away in frustration when his best friend and Kishan's son Vijay Sinha also kicks him out for being the son of his father's murderer. Time passes away. D'Souza comes out from jail and meets father of the church. Father informs him that he could not trace out his son Michael but according to his wish he had made police inspector to his friend Kishan's son Vijay Sinha with the help of the money he used to send from the jail. D'Souza decides to bring the truth of the murder of Vijay Sinha's father to his knowledge by getting Tuti Shah arrested. At the same time Tuti Shah comes to know about deprived Michael and his sympathy and attachment towards the poor. He black mails Michael emotionally and gets his rival Bakhshi Jang Bahadur killed by Michael. During his attack a hotel dancer Maria loses her eyesight by the flames of Michael's pistol. Michael himself feels responsible for this accident and without disclosing his identity starts helping and taking care of Maria. Both fall in love each other Now the motto of Michael's life is to get Maria's eyesight back. Tuti Shash again black mails Michael emotionally. He offers him money for the operation of Maria's eyes and asks to kill his another enemy Inspector Dharam Das in exchange. But in this deal Tuti Shah deceives Michael. On the other side Inpsector Vijay Sinha chasing Michael for both the murders and wants to arrest the mafia don Tuti Shah also. To defend a pick pocket Meena from hoodlums Inspector Vijay Sinha himself falls in love with her. Inspector Vijay Sinha arrests Tuti Shah red-handed but fails to do anything against him as a lawman. He resigns from his service and decides to eliminate Tuti Shah. Now D'Souza, Michael and Vijay Sinha are at one side and Tuti Shah and his personal army on the other side.

The movie story deals with Raju a tenant of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte aka Babu Bhaiyya and has not paid his rent for a long time. Raju does not believe in hard work and wants to earn easy money. He cons everybody, even his mother, who thinks that her son works in Calcutta. Baburao, a bespectacled long-sighted man, runs the "Star Garage". He has a familial debt with many money-lenders and has hard time with them. Shyam aka Ghanshyam has come to Mumbai from Gurgaon seeking a job in his late father's bank. Apparently his father died in a fire that broke out in the bank and he claims that the bank owes him the job. He badly needs the money for his friend Khadak Singh's sister's marriage. A young woman, Anuradha Panniker , is also in the running for the job, her father having died two minutes before Shyam's. Shyam meets Raju and a misunderstanding causes Shyam to think that Raju is a pickpocket. A fight ensues between the two, and Raju escapes, leaving his wallet with Shyam. After Raju leaves, Shyam discovers that he had his own wallet on him all the time. Unfortunately, this realisation comes just as Raju returns with two policemen, insisting that Shyam has robbed him.

Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar), Boney (Deepak Tijori), Sheetal Nath (Sabeeha) and Neelam Choudhary (Ayesha Jhulka) are four pranksters in their college. Raj is younger brother of Inspector Suresh Malhotra (Shakti Kapoor), Boney probably has no relatives, Sheetal is the daughter of minister Kailash Nath (Prem Chopra) while Neelam is rich heiress with her uncle (Anant Mahadevan) as her only living relative. Raj and Neelam are romantically involved.
Raj bets habitually and has not lost yet, but when he bets that he can extort money from Kailash, the remaining gang is sceptical. As per the bet, they make Kailash believe that Sheetal is kidnapped, while in reality they have housed themselves in a cottage outside Bombay belonging to Pillai (Johnny Lever). But when Sheetal is murdered mysteriously, the investigation is given to Suresh. Raj, Boney and Neelam try to clean their trail.
The group has escaped three fatal accidents. Suspicions arise whether the accidents were just macabre coincidences. Little do they know that the problem is much bigger and sinister than they can ever imagine.
