The film opens at the municipal building and construction department office (Mumbai, India). The superintendent of the office, Thakur, gets a telephone call from the industrialist Ranbir Gupta. Ranbir asks if his construction permits have been approved. Thakur is flustered, but informs him that a newly appointed clerk in his office is holding up the file.

The film introduces the new clerk, Kimtilal Saxena (Kadar Khan). When an ordinary guy approaches him with plans to extend the perimeter of his home (and, in accordance with prevalent practice, offers him a bribe), Kimtilal flatly refuses. The guy insists, so Kimtilal asks him to send up a cup of tea (with 2 spoonfuls of sugar) from the small shop opposite the office. The guy approaches the tea stall run by the eccentric tea vendor Kutti (Johny Lever), only to discover that each spoonful of sugar is 200 rupees (the bribe for Kimtilal). The guy is surprised, but Kutti explains that one must change with the times. The guy pays Kutti and duly gets his permits. Kimtilal settles accounts with Kutti every evening, and that Kutti receives a small cut. The money trail touches everyone at the office.

After the court judgment Narayan Shrivastav was very happy but he didn't know that his brother Sajjan thirsty for money wants to kill him while they were travelling back to their home Sajjan kills Narayan after returning hone he sheds crocodile tears but Krishna knowing that his uncle Sajjan is not a good person doesn't wants to stay with him and says that he wants to stay with his late mother's friend and his school teacher Saraswati Devi. At the midnight Sajjan sends a goon to kill Krishna but by mistake the goon takes the child of Saraswati Devi and throw him in the river but luckily the inspector arrives there looking for some drug dealers and see a goon throwing something in the river when he goes to check he finds an unconscious child so he takes him to the hospital. While here on the other side Saraswati Devi thinking his son Suraj is Dead leaves for an other city with her daughter Jyoti and Krishna. Now Saraswati looks after Krishna and Jyoti. Time flies and Krishna falls in love with his college friend Madhu. Sajjan's son Raghu turns to become a local goonda, protected by his dad by bribing the local police. Jyoti is raped and murdered by Raghu and his pals, and they also run over Saraswati rendering her crippled. Both Krishna and Saraswati swear to avenge Jyoti's death. Then Suraj re-enters their lives, as a police inspector, and is bent on arresting Krishna by hook or by crook, casting doubts whether he is or not on the pay-roll of Sajjan.

Latest Bollywood Movies Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain in which Vijay Chopra (Anil Kapoor) returns from USA, to join his family business. The only son of the widower industrialist, Vishwanath Chopra (Anupam Kher), Vijay carries home with him the attitude of the western world, some good, like equality of man and woman in a relationship and some bad, like failure to recognize marriage as an institution. Vishwanath hopes to bring some stability into his son's life through marriage and Vijay is all the more reluctant to tie the knot. A compromise is finally struck between the father and the son with Vijay agreeing to marry, with a condition. The condition that if he is not compatible with his wife after a year of marriage, he will leave her. Although furious with the condition, Vishwanath realises that a marriage with a condition never the less better than no marriage at all. Vishwanath feels that there is no one better suited than Megha (Kajol), his trusted and efficient secretary, who is capable of changing his son's heart within a year of the marriage. Vijay thinks otherwise and on their first anniversary, he enforces the contract. Megha leaves his house and start working, but the society brands her character less. When Vijay realise what is happening to Megha's life he wishes to take back but she refuses. In the midst of all, Megha realises that she is pregnant.
