Autograph is a 2004 Tamil film directed by Cheran. The film's soundtrack is composed by Bharathwaj. Cheran also plays the lead role in the film, and other cast members include Sneha, Gopika, Kanika and Mallika.

The film was released in India in February 2004, and was screened at the Lyon Asian Film Festival in France and at the Montreal World Film Festival in Canada. Upon release, the film met with critical acclaim and commercial success. Although a sequel to the film titled Autograph 2 was announced, it never materialized.

Varalaru: History Of Godfather (English: Biography: History Of Godfather) is a 2006 Indian Tamil action family drama written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film stars Ajith Kumar in a triple role as a father and his two sons, alongside Asin and Kanika. Ramesh Khanna, Suman Setty, Sujatha and M. S. Baskar play other supporting roles. The film's soundtrack and score were composed by A. R. Rahman. This movie has been remade in Kannada, titled Godfather starring Upendra, Soundarya Jayamala & Catherine Tresa. Prior to release, the film was known by its original title Godfather, but following the Government of Tamil Nadu's motion to exempt tax on films titled in Tamil in 2006, the film's title was changed. After two years of production, the film released on 20 October 2006 and emerged as the biggest grosser of the year,collecting ₹65 crore at the box office, which is now worth over ₹153 crore.

Pesadha Kannum Pesume is a Tamil film released in 2002. This film is a tribute to Monal, who died on April 30, 2002, just before the film's release.
Vikram (Kunal) is a happy-go-lucky guy who finds pleasure in playing pranks on people. He is a Casanova, who works in an advertising agency. He is in love with Swetha (Monal), who is very possessive about him. In one of the many practical jokes played by him, he tells Swetha one day that he is already married. He even introduces her to Mamta who is a model working for him and she convinces Swetha that they are married. Monal is heartbroken and decides to marry a boy whom her parents chose. When Vikram comes to know this, he comes back and tells her that everything was a planned joke. But to his shock Mamta who was his college mate turns against him and continues to tell Swetha that she is Vikram’s wife. Mamtha has an axe to grind against Vikram, because of whom her father had to committed suicide while they were in college. Pop Karnas who is in charge of the comedy, tries to bring the lovers together. Finally all ends well.

While leaving for USA, Veerapandi gave the responsibility of managing this land to Vajravelu (Rajan P. Dev). Now back in India, Veerapandi realises that Vajravelu is misusing his power. He wants to donate all his land to the 2000 families staying in that village. When Vajravelu comes to know of this charity giveaway, he attacks Veerapandi, killing him and his wife. Nallamuthu being a trusted lieutenant of Veerapandi, takes the kid Jai and escapes to the city. After the murders, Veerapandi’s trusted people are put in jail with a prison sentence of 14 years. After 12 years later, the now grown up Jai (Prashanth) studying in a college, falls in love with Nandhini (Anshu Ambani), daughter of Vajravelu. Nallamuthu has raised Jai in Chennai as a fun-loving boy but he grows up a hot tempered young lad. Completing her studies, Nandhini returns to her hometown at her father's place. After a hiatus of 14 years, Jai comes along with other trusted members of his father who are released from jail. Nallamuthu wants to take revenge on Vajravelu and get back all the land so that he can distribute it to the villagers. The rest of the film deals with how Jai succeeds.

when I saw Jayam and Dil. I observed him for a couple of months. After deciding that Nitin is an apt actor for this role, I approached him and signed him for the main lead role. The hero in this film is a fanatic devotee of Lord Anjaneya. After observing his loyalty to Lord Anjaneya, the village men start calling him 'Anji'. I wanted an actor who possesses those qualities of divinity, authority and purity. I don't want the image of that actor to dominate the character he is playing. He should look soft. I met Arjun at the marriage of Soundarya. I went there along with Jagapati Babu. Jagapati Babu and Arjun are good friends. We spent 5 hours together. I observed his body language and the way he communicates. And it connected to the characterization I have done for Lord Anjaneya in this film's script. I waited for 15 more days and then called up Arjun over the phone. When I narrated this story to Arjun, he cried three times. After listening to the story, Arjun said that he had been waiting to do even a single scene role in my films. He is a great devotee of Lord Anjaneya
