On 12 May 2000, a truck gets stolen in Los Angeles, and the police bring in six men of South Asian origin for questioning. They are: Yashvardhan Rampal, known as 'Major' educated intelligent, unemployed, with an ailing wife who longs to return to India; Non-English speaking Jay Rehan, otherwise known as 'Ajju', a foul-mouthed, trigger-happy gangster; A out-of-work former nightclub bouncer, Marc Issak, whose girlfriend, Lisa, is a bar dancer, and who is known to get into fights due to his uncontrollable temper; A drug dealer, Raj Yadav, otherwise known as Bali, foul-mouthed, womanizer, stutterer, and alcoholic; Bali's sidekick, Maqbool Haider, otherwise known as Mac; White-collared Anand Mathur, alias Andy, recently separated from his wife, Renu, and longing to get back together with his son, who he cannot get custody of due to financial problems. The six confer in a cell, cite woes that even though the Italians have their Mafia, the Colombians have their Cartels, but the East Indian criminal community is yet to forge a Bhai-type organization, resulting in their getting pulled in as the usual suspects every time there is a crime involving a colored person. They plot to get back at the cops by robbing the American Services Bank, perhaps the only bank which has a majority of its clientele employed by the city police. They plan and carry out this caper quite successfully, but when they exit the bank, they find themselves surrounded by the police. After a shoot-out, They do manage to escape and meet in a secret hideout, to not only share the loot, but also try and find out who betrayed them. Ajju abducts police interrogator, Detective MacQuarrie, and it is through him they learn that their informer is one of them and they must find out his identity, kill him, then divide the loot amongst them and disperse. The only problem is the informer is not willing to come forward and the gangsters end up suspecting each other and their respective motives.

Synopsis:

Kind and benevolent Mumbai-based Baba permits three Delhi-based aspiring music artistes, Raj, Yash Khan and Jaspal Singh Walia, to live with his family, consisting of his wife and two children. After the trio fail to secure any work and become indebted, he lends them Rs.7 Lakhs to finance their own music video. The trio set out to secure their future, but upon returning find their mentor being attacked by goons. They come to his rescue, get him hospitalized, and while he is recovering, are summoned by gangster/extortionist, Raman Bhai. The latter warns them not to interfere with his business of forcing Baba to sign away his property and mansion to him. The trio then daringly abduct Raman's sister, Ria, and hold her hostage for a ransom of Rs.5 Crores - not realizing that this action will pit them against corrupt policemen, Raman's goons, as well as endanger not their lives but also the lives of Baba and his family.

Synopsis:

The film begins with Captain Rajveer Singh (Sharman Joshi) and Captain Quereshi (Javed Jaffrey) are captains of India and Pakistan playing cards with their partners at Indo-Pak border. Suddenly bomb explodes. Then the film flashbacks into seventeen hours before. At that time the Defense minister of India called Ruth Dutta (Soha Ali Khan), the reporter of GBC news to talk about some important top secret. He reveals that after two days war will be declared between India and Pakistan.Fourteen hours before, Defense minister of Pakistan with Pakistani General contacts Defense minister of China for some help. Defense minister of China tells that he will attack New Delhi with a nuclear bomb . At Indo-Pak border Pakistan army are becoming very lazy. Then don't want to pay attention to commander Khan(Sanjai Mishra). Captain Rajveer Singh (Sharman Joshi) and Captain Quereshi (Javed Jaffery) are battalion captains of India and Pakistan – two countries forever embroiled in conflict and turmoil with each other. However, on the actual battle-field, Raj and Quereshi and his troops form an unlikely friendship and camaraderie, reared on a love for conversations and playing antakshari(a game)of Hindi film songs and non-veg food. Midst them, arrives Ruth Dutta (Soha Ali Khan), an ambitious TV reporter, assigned to make a documentary on the lives of the soldiers of these two sides, as reported from on-ground. But when war is announced between these two countries, the easy friendship between the two sides is tested and conspiracy theories are hatched – all with hilarious results. In the end, the question which haunts everybody is : why the war and to what extent ?
