Suriya's Latest Telugu Film "Memu" was released on 8th July, 2016 in Theaters. It is a dubbed version of Tamil Blockbuster Film Pasanga 2 (Haiku). which is is a children's film written, co produced and directed by Pandiraj. The film, is produced by Suriya, who also appears in the lead role along with Amala Paul. The film will mark Pandiraj's last of the trilogy for children, following Pasanga and Marina.

Pandiraj's Memu is children's film, which is on par with Aamir Khan's highly acclaimed Taare Zameen Par, which won the hearts of both critics and audiences few years back upon release.

Naina (Baby Vaishnavi) and Naveen (Master Niseesh) are mischievous kids. They loves playing games all the time but hardly focus on studies. These hyper-active kids becomes a headache for their Parents. Even Teachers weren't able to handle them and hence they were issued TCs by few schools already. Finally, Parents join the two kids in hostel against their wish. That's when Child Psychiatrist (Suriya) tries to understand the state of mind of these kids and even brings a change in the mindset of Parents.
